Coating is at the heart of Metpaint’s production process, allowing a continuous, uniform and controlled coating to be applied to the coil.
Through a coil coating line, the metal is prepared, treated and coated according to parameters defined on the basis of the substrate, intended use and required performance. The result is pre-painted metal ready for subsequent processing and industrial applications.
The coil is unwound and the strip enters the line, where it undergoes cleaning, degreasing and surface pre-treatment.
Primer and topcoat are then applied under controlled conditions, followed by curing in the oven. The process is completed with cooling, quality checks and rewinding, leaving the material ready for subsequent processing or delivery.
The coating line is the core of our production process: an integrated system in which every phase, from pre-treatment to final curing, contributes to ensuring quality, uniformity and resistance of the finished product.

Metpaint can apply coatings to different metal substrates, including steel and aluminium. The process configuration is defined according to the characteristics of the substrate and the final application.
Yes. Coating is available in a wide range of colours and finishes, with different aesthetic and surface characteristics. The solution is defined according to the customer’s specifications and the intended use of the material.
The choice depends on the substrate, the environment in which the material will be used and the performance required from the finished product. Metpaint offers different coating systems developed to meet specific requirements in terms of durability, resistance, workability and surface appearance.
Yes. Depending on the specifications of the order, coatings can be applied to both sides of the material, defining the most suitable configuration for the required application.
Yes. Pre-painted metal can subsequently undergo other processes available at Metpaint, such as cutting, rewinding, embossing and protective film application, depending on the requirements of the finished product.
To assess the process, it is useful to specify the type of substrate, thickness, width, desired colour or finish, required quantities and intended use. Based on this information, Metpaint can identify the most suitable coating system and production configuration.
